There are several great dances to take your dancing to the next level of fun, while getting people that don't know how to dance involved. This is important because even if the bride and groom are dancing machines, most likely not all of there guests are going to be as coordinationally blessed (yes i did just make up that word). So in order to help those non-dancing guests to have fun, having songs or events that have easy, set dances will get more people on the floor than normal songs. These are all great dances that almost anyone can do (except perhaps the "superman") and there are many others you can use. Some of these are the Congo line, the chicken dance, the Apache dance, and the Boot Scootin Boogie to name a few. These are some of the most popular and "user friendly" dances; there are also some recent dances like the Stanky Leg, the Jerk, or the Dougie, but these have an increased amount of difficulty and are only popular with a younger crowd. All of the dances above can add energy, excitement, and fun to any event with dancing. Many people will also know these dances, and if they don't most can easily pick up on how to do the dance. Hopefully you can get some ideas for dances you can use at your event, and if you need help with how to do any of these dances Youtube will most likely have the steps, or just ask your local DJ.
